Healthy lunch for work, using home grown ingredients!

You can’t find food any fresher, then from your own garden. Eating freshly picked produce, makes food more nutritious and tastier! Below is the salad I made to bring to work. The lettuce and sugar snap peas were organically grown in our family garden. Our tomatoes in the garden aren’t quite ready to be picked yet, so I used some organic ones from the store. The dressing is homemade though! An easy and fun way to bypass the additives and preservatives commonly found in store bought dressing, is to make your own. It’s as simple as adding the right ingredients to a blender. This one tasted like a spin-off of honey mustard dressing, with a nice kick.


I also blended up a quick smoothie using homegrown kale and honeydew from the store.
